    • Conceptual essays: 3,000–6,000 words

    • Field reports / ethnographic notes: 2,000–3,000 words

    • Book / film / art reviews: 1,000–2,000 words

  • Referencing style: APA 7th edition

  • Manuscripts must include:

    • Title

    • Abstract (150–250 words)

    • Keywords (4–6 terms)

    • Main text

    • Acknowledgments

    • References

Inclusive & Ethical Language

Authors must avoid:

  • Gendered stereotypes

  • Racist, ableist, or colonial terminology

  • Unexamined generalizations about communities

Authors should use:

  • Person-first language (e.g., “people with disabilities,” unless community-preferred terms differ)

  • Respectful terminology for Indigenous nations

Figures & Tables

  • Must be high-resolution (300 dpi)

  • Include a clear title and descriptive caption

  • Indicate placement in the manuscript (e.g., <Insert Table 1 here>)

Submission Process

  • Submit manuscripts through the journal’s online system (OJS or similar).

  • Remove all identifying information from the manuscript to ensure a double-blind review.

  • Upload a separate file containing:

    • Author name(s)

    • Institutional affiliation

    • ORCID ID (optional but recommended)

    • Contact information
