History lessons are often considered boring, especially by children. Therefore, a learning activity to teach historical values through the film Battle of Surabaya was held for children in Dusun Gowok, Kelurahan Polengan, Srumbung Subdistrict, Magelang Regency. This activity aimed to instill historical awareness and introduce the events of the Battle of Surabaya on November 10, 1945, in a fun way. The implementation method of the activity included the stages of observation, preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Animated films were chosen as the medium because they are suitable for children and have educational potential. The results of the activity showed that the children were enthusiastic about participating in the learning process and gained an initial understanding of the values of struggle, nationalism, and patriotism.
